With this Halloween face paint stencil you put a whole Halloween night on the side of the face in one go: a black cat under a bare spooky tree, with an owl, bats and a full moon in a single design. Place the stencil, press it down, airbrush or dab, lift the stencil, done. Ideal for Halloween parties, spooky kids' afternoons and face painting with a spooky theme.
Please note: these stencils are made for use with the airbrush. Working with a face paint sponge or finger sponge works too, but because of the size of the stencil that is less convenient for beginners.
What is this Halloween stencil?
A reusable face paint stencil made of flexible, semi-transparent mylar, 7 mil thick (about 0.18 mm). This stencil holds a complete Halloween night for the side of the face: a black cat, a bare spooky tree, an owl on a branch, bats and a full moon. Just enough for a recognisable spooky look without having to draw anything yourself.
The images on the product photos are examples. The colour that lands on the skin is the one you choose with your own face paint.
Why choose this stencil?

- Works with airbrush and with face paint. The stencil works with your ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink or Endura for the sharpest result. With a damp sponge or water-based face paint it works too, the fine details just come out a little softer.
- Reusable. Mylar is durable and flexible. Clean it well and store it flat, and you will keep using it for years, Halloween after Halloween.
- Follows the shape of the face. The mylar is thin and bendable, so it sits neatly against cheek, forehead and nose bridge without the edges lifting.
How do you use the stencil?
- Place the stencil flat against one half of the face, with the eye cut-out around the eye.
- Spray with the airbrush for the best, most detailed result. Or dab with a damp face paint sponge if you do not have an airbrush.
- Lift the stencil straight up. Do not slide it over the skin, or the line will smudge.
Tip for water-based face paint: keep your sponge damp, but not wet. Too much moisture and the paint creeps under the edges, and your cat and spooky tree go blurry.
Cleaning and storage
Worked with water-based face paint? Rinse the stencil with lukewarm water and mild soap. Pat it dry gently and let it lie flat until it is completely dry. Do not roll it, do not fold it, or the mylar will get permanent creases.
Worked with ProAiir Hybrid or Ink? Then clean the stencil with 99.9% alcohol or ProAiir ProClean. Those dissolve the alcohol paint without the mylar swelling.
For storage: keep the stencil flat in a stencil rack or between two sheets of paper in a flat folder.
