The ProAiir Profile Stencils are designed to decorate half a face in no time. With this Bumble Profile Stencil you place a bumblebee character design on the side of the face. Position the stencil, press it flat, airbrush, lift it off, done. Great for kids' parties, animal-themed events, theatre and photo shoots.
Note: these stencils are designed for use with an airbrush. Using a makeup sponge or finger sponge is possible too, but the size of the stencil makes it more of a challenge.
What is the Profile Stencil Bumble?
A reusable makeup stencil made from flexible, semi-transparent 7 mil mylar (approximately 0.18 mm thick). One character design per stencil: in this case a Bumble character design for the side of the face, suited to animal and nature themes.
The images in the product photos are examples. The colour that lands on the skin is determined by your own makeup.
Why pick this stencil?
- Designed for airbrush. The stencil works with your ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink or Endura for the sharpest result. A damp sponge and water-activated makeup work too, but the larger size makes fine detail trickier.
- Fast character effect. A complete Bumble look in 2 to 3 minutes. Ideal at kids' parties or animal-themed events where you need to move quickly between faces.
- Reusable. Mylar is durable and flexible. Clean it properly, store it flat, and it will last for years.
- Follows the shape of the face. The thin, flexible mylar hugs the cheek, forehead and nose bridge without the edges lifting.
How to use the stencil
- Place the stencil flat against one side of the face, with the eye opening positioned around the eye.
- Spray with the airbrush for the best, most detailed result. Or dab with a damp makeup sponge if you don't have an airbrush. Bear in mind that fine detail is harder to achieve with a sponge due to the stencil's size.
- Lift the stencil straight off. Don't slide it across the skin or the lines will smear.
Tip with water-activated makeup: keep your sponge damp, not wet. Too much moisture and the makeup seeps under the edges, giving you blurry lines.
Cleaning and storage
Used water-activated makeup? Rinse the stencil under lukewarm water with a little mild soap. Pat it dry gently and leave it to dry completely laid flat. Don't roll it or fold it, otherwise the mylar will get permanent creases.
Used ProAiir Hybrid or Ink? Clean the stencil with 99.9% alcohol or ProAiir ProClean. Both dissolve the alcohol-based makeup without causing the mylar to swell.
For storage: keep the stencil flat in a stencil rack or between two sheets of paper inside a flat folder.
