ProAiir Profile Stencil Dragon
The ProAiir Profile Stencils are built to transform half a face in just a few minutes. With this Dragon Profile Stencil you place a dragon character design along the side of the face. Press the stencil flat, airbrush over it, lift it straight off, done. Ideal for kids' parties, fantasy cosplay, LARP, and festivals where you need a bold character look quickly.
Note: these stencils are designed for use with an airbrush. Using a face paint sponge or finger sponge is possible, but the size of the stencil makes it more challenging.
What is the Profile Stencil Dragon?
A reusable makeup stencil made from flexible, semi-transparent 7 mil mylar (approximately 0.18 mm thick). One character design per stencil: in this case a dragon design that you place along the side of the face for a half-face effect.
The colours shown in the product images are examples only. The colour that lands on the skin is determined by the makeup you choose to use.
Why pick this stencil?
- Built for airbrush. The stencil works with your ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink, or Endura for the sharpest results. A damp sponge with face paint works too, but fine detail becomes harder at this size.
- Fast character effect. A complete dragon look in 2 to 3 minutes. Perfect for parties and events where you need to paint many faces in a short time.
- Reusable. Mylar is tough and flexible. Clean it properly and store it flat, and it will last for years.
- Follows the face. The thin, pliable mylar sits flush against the cheek, forehead, and nose bridge without the edges lifting.
How to use the stencil
- Press the stencil flat against one side of the face, lining up the eye cut-out around the eye.
- Airbrush over the stencil for the best, most detailed result. If you don't have an airbrush, dab with a damp face paint sponge. Keep in mind that fine details are trickier at this stencil size.
- Lift the stencil straight off. Don't slide it across the skin or you'll smear the lines.
Tip when using face paint: keep your sponge damp, not wet. Too much moisture and the paint seeps under the edges, blurring your lines.
Cleaning and storage
Used water-based face paint? Rinse the stencil under lukewarm water with a little mild soap. Pat it dry and lay it flat until fully dry. Don't roll or fold it, or the mylar will develop permanent creases.
Used ProAiir Hybrid or Ink? Clean the stencil with 99.9% alcohol or ProAiir ProClean. These dissolve the alcohol-based paint without causing the mylar to swell.
For storage: keep the stencil flat in a stencil rack or between two sheets of paper inside a flat folder.
What can you use it for?

- Festivals and events: Dragon as a quick character look
- Fantasy cosplay and LARP: Dragon for mythical characters
- Theatre and film: fantasy or fairy-tale productions with fast make-up changes
