ProAiir Profile Stencil Jaws
The ProAiir Profile Stencils are built to transform half a face in minutes. With this Jaws Profile Stencil you place a shark jaw design on the side of the face. Position the stencil, press it flat, airbrush, lift, done. Perfect for Halloween events, horror photoshoots and themed parties.
Note: these stencils are designed for use with an airbrush. Using a makeup sponge or finger sponge is possible, but the size of the stencil makes it more of a challenge.
What is the Profile Stencil Jaws?
A reusable makeup stencil made from flexible, semi-transparent 7 mil mylar (approximately 0.18 mm thick). One character design per stencil: in this case the Jaws character design cut into mylar as a half-face stencil for the side of the face, suited to horror and Halloween work.
The colours shown in the product images are examples. The colour that lands on the skin is entirely your choice, based on the makeup you use.
Why pick this stencil?
- Built for airbrush. The stencil works with your ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink or Endura for the sharpest results. A damp sponge with water-activated face paint works too, but the larger format makes fine detail harder to achieve.
- Fast character effect. A complete Jaws look in 2 to 3 minutes. Ideal for busy Halloween events or workshop demonstrations where speed matters.
- Reusable. Mylar is durable and flexible. Clean it properly and store it flat, and it will last for years.
- Follows the shape of the face. The thin, flexible mylar conforms to the cheek, forehead and bridge of the nose so the edges stay in place.
How to use the stencil
- Place the stencil flat against one side of the face, with the eye cut-out aligned around the eye.
- Spray with your airbrush for the best, most detailed result. Or dab with a damp makeup sponge if you don't have an airbrush. Keep in mind that the stencil's size makes fine detail more difficult that way.
- Lift the stencil straight up. Don't slide it across the skin or the lines will smear.
Tip for water-activated face paint: keep your sponge damp, not wet. Too much moisture and the paint seeps under the edges, making your lines blurry.
Cleaning and storage
Used water-activated face paint? Rinse the stencil under lukewarm water with mild soap. Pat it dry gently and leave it flat until fully dry. Don't roll or fold it, as that creates permanent creases in the mylar.
Used ProAiir Hybrid or Ink? Clean the stencil with 99.9% alcohol or ProAiir ProClean. Both dissolve the alcohol-based paint without swelling the mylar.
For storage: keep the stencil flat in a stencil rack or between two sheets of paper inside a flat folder.
