ProAiir Profile Stencil Tinkie
The ProAiir Profile Stencils are designed to cover half a face in just a couple of minutes. With this Tinkie Profile Stencil you place a magical fantasy character design on the side of the face. Hold the stencil flat against the face, press down, airbrush, lift off, done. Great for kids' parties, festivals and fantasy cosplay.
Note: these stencils are designed for use with an airbrush. Using a makeup sponge or finger sponge is possible too, but the size of the stencil makes it trickier to get clean edges.
What is the Profile Stencil Tinkie?
A reusable makeup stencil cut from flexible, semi-transparent 7 mil mylar (approximately 0.18 mm). One character design per stencil: in this case the Tinkie character design for the side of the face, as a half-face stencil.
The colours shown in the product images are examples. The colour that lands on skin is whatever makeup you choose to use with it.
Why pick this stencil?
- Built for airbrush. The stencil works with your ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink or Endura for the sharpest finish. A damp sponge or face paint works too, but the large format makes fine detail harder to achieve.
- Fast character effect. A complete Tinkie look in 2 to 3 minutes. Ideal when you need to move quickly from face to face at a party or festival.
- Reusable. Mylar is tough and flexible. Clean it properly, store it flat and it will last for years.
- Follows the face. The thin, pliable mylar sits flush against the cheek, forehead and nose bridge without the edges lifting.
How to use the stencil
- Lay the stencil flat against one side of the face, aligning the eye cutout with the eye.
- Airbrush for the sharpest, most detailed result. Or dab with a damp makeup sponge if you don't have an airbrush. Bear in mind that fine detail is harder to achieve at this stencil size.
- Lift the stencil straight up off the skin. Don't drag it sideways or the edges will smear.
Tip with face paint: keep your sponge damp, not wet. Too much moisture and the paint bleeds under the edges, making the lines blurry.
Cleaning and storage
Used water-based face paint? Rinse the stencil under lukewarm water with a little mild soap. Pat dry gently and leave it lying flat until fully dry. Don't roll or fold it, or the mylar will get permanent creases.
Used ProAiir Hybrid or Ink? Clean the stencil with 99% alcohol or ProAiir ProClean. Both dissolve the alcohol-based colour without swelling the mylar.
For storage: keep the stencil flat in a stencil rack or between two sheets of paper inside a flat folder.
