ProAiir Profile Stencil Cats Meow
The ProAiir Profile Stencils are made to cover half a face in minutes. This Cats Meow Profile Stencil places a spooky cat character design on the side of the face. Position the stencil, press it flat, airbrush over it, lift it off, done. Ideal for Halloween, horror events, gothic theme parties and theatre or film productions.
Note: these stencils are designed for use with an airbrush. Using a makeup sponge or finger sponge is possible, but the size of the stencil makes it more challenging.
What is the Profile Stencil Cats Meow?
A reusable makeup stencil made from flexible, semi-transparent 7 mil mylar (approximately 0.18 mm thick). One character design per stencil: in this case the Cats Meow character cut into mylar, as a half-face stencil for the side of the face, suited to horror and Halloween work.
The colours shown in the product photos are examples. The colour that lands on the skin is entirely your choice, based on the makeup you use.
Why pick this stencil?
- Built for airbrush. The stencil works with your ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink or Endura for the sharpest result. A damp sponge or water-activated makeup works too, but the large format makes fine detail trickier.
- Quick character effect. A full Cats Meow look in 2 to 3 minutes. Perfect for busy Halloween events or demos where you need a recognisable horror design fast.
- Reusable. Mylar is tough and flexible. Clean it properly, store it flat, and it will last for years.
- Follows the contours of the face. The thin, flexible mylar sits snugly against the cheek, forehead and nose bridge without the edges lifting.
How to use the stencil
- Place the stencil flat against one half of the face, aligning the eye opening with the eye.
- Airbrush over it for the best, most detailed result. Or dab with a damp makeup sponge if you don't have an airbrush. Bear in mind that fine details are harder to achieve because of the stencil size.
- Lift the stencil straight off. Don't slide it across the skin or the lines will smear.
Tip for water-activated makeup: keep your sponge damp, not wet. Too much moisture and the makeup seeps under the edges, leaving blurry lines.
Cleaning and storage
Used water-activated makeup? Rinse the stencil under lukewarm water with mild soap. Pat it dry gently and leave it lying flat until fully dry. Don't roll or fold it, or the mylar will crease permanently.
Used ProAiir Hybrid or Ink? Clean the stencil with 99.9% alcohol or ProAiir ProClean. Both dissolve the alcohol-based makeup without swelling the mylar.
For storage: keep the stencil flat in a stencil rack or between two sheets of paper inside a flat folder.
