The ProAiir Profile Stencils are built to cover half a face in minutes. With this Holiday Flower Profile Stencil you apply a festive floral design made for Christmas and winter events to the side of the face. Place the stencil on the face, press it down, airbrush, lift the stencil, done. Great for Christmas parties, winter markets, theatre productions and festive photoshoots with kids and adults alike.
Note: these stencils are designed for use with an airbrush. Using a make-up sponge or finger sponge is possible, but the size of the stencil makes this more challenging.
What is the Profile Stencil Holiday Flower?
A reusable make-up stencil made from flexible, semi-transparent 7 mil mylar (approximately 0.18 mm). One character design per stencil: in this case the Holiday Flower design cut into mylar as a half-face stencil for the side of the face, suited to Christmas and winter events.
The images in the product photos are examples only. The colour that lands on skin is determined by the make-up you choose.
Why pick this stencil?
- Built for airbrush. The stencil works with your ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink or Endura for the sharpest result. A damp sponge and water-activated face paint also works, but the large format makes fine detail harder to achieve.
- Fast character effect. A complete Holiday Flower look in 2 to 3 minutes. Ideal when you need to move quickly between clients at a Christmas market or family event.
- Reusable. Mylar is tough and flexible. Clean it well, store it flat, and it will last for years.
- Follows the contours of the face. The thin, pliable mylar hugs the cheek, forehead and nose bridge so the edges stay put while you work.
How to use the stencil
- Place the stencil flat against one side of the face, with the eye cut-out aligned around the eye.
- Spray with the airbrush for the sharpest, most detailed result. Or dab with a damp make-up sponge if you do not have an airbrush. Bear in mind that fine details are harder to achieve given the size of the stencil.
- Lift the stencil straight up. Do not slide it across the skin or the lines will blur.
Tip with water-activated face paint: keep your sponge damp, not wet. Too much moisture and the paint seeps under the edges, giving you soft lines instead of sharp ones.
Cleaning and storage
Used water-activated face paint? Rinse the stencil under lukewarm water with a little mild soap. Pat dry gently and leave it flat until fully dry. Do not roll or fold it, as the mylar will develop permanent creases.
Used ProAiir Hybrid or Ink? Clean the stencil with 99.9% alcohol or ProAiir ProClean. These dissolve the alcohol-based paint without causing the mylar to swell.
For storage: keep the stencil flat in a stencil rack or between two sheets of paper inside a flat folder.
