ProAiir Profile Stencil Unicorn
The ProAiir Profile Stencils are built to schmink half a face in minutes. With this Unicorn Profile Stencil you place a magical unicorn character on the side of the face. Position the stencil, press it flat, airbrush, lift it off, done. Great for kids parties, festivals and anyone who needs a recognisable fantasy look in record time.
Note: these stencils are designed for use with the airbrush. Working with a makeup sponge or finger sponge is possible, but the size of the stencil makes it more challenging.
What is the Profile Stencil Unicorn?
A reusable makeup stencil made from flexible, semi-transparent 7 mil mylar (approximately 0.18 mm thick). One character design per stencil: in this case a unicorn character cut-out that you place on the side of the face for a half-face look.
The images in the product photos are examples. The colour that lands on the skin is determined by the face paint or makeup you choose to use.
Why pick this stencil?
- Designed for airbrush. The stencil works with your ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink or Endura for the sharpest result. A damp sponge and face paint work too, but the large format makes fine detail harder to achieve.
- Fast character effect. A complete unicorn look in 2 to 3 minutes. Ideal at kids parties or festivals where you need to work through a queue quickly.
- Reusable. Mylar is durable and flexible. Clean it properly, store it flat, and it will last for years.
- Follows the face. The thin, pliable mylar sits close to the cheek, forehead and nose bridge without the edges lifting.
How to use the stencil
- Place the stencil flat against one half of the face, with the eye cut-out positioned around the eye.
- Airbrush for the best, most detailed result. Or use a damp makeup sponge if you don't have an airbrush. Keep in mind that fine details are trickier due to the stencil's size.
- Lift the stencil straight up. Do not slide it across the skin, or the edges will smear.
Tip when using face paint: keep your sponge damp, not wet. Too much moisture and the paint seeps under the edges, making your lines blurry.
Cleaning and storage
Used water-activated face paint? Rinse the stencil under lukewarm water with a mild soap. Pat dry gently and leave it to dry flat. Do not roll or fold it, or the mylar will crease permanently.
Used ProAiir Hybrid or Ink? Clean the stencil with 99.9% alcohol or ProAiir ProClean. These dissolve the alcohol-based makeup without swelling the mylar.
For storage: keep the stencil flat in a stencil rack or between two sheets of paper in a flat folder.
