The ProAiir Profile Stencils are built to cover half a face in no time at all. With this Prancer Profile Stencil you apply a festive Prancer character design to the side of the face. Place the stencil, press it down, airbrush, lift it off, done. Perfect for Christmas events, winter fairs, theatre productions, and photoshoots.
Note: these stencils are designed for use with an airbrush. Using a make-up sponge or finger sponge is possible too, but the size of the stencil makes it more of a challenge.
What is the Profile Stencil Prancer?
A reusable make-up stencil cut from flexible, semi-transparent 7 mil mylar (roughly 0.18 mm thick). One character design per stencil: in this case the Prancer character as a half-face design for the side of the face, suited to Christmas and winter events.
The colours shown in the product photos are examples only. The colour that lands on the skin is entirely your choice of make-up.
Why pick this stencil?
- Built for airbrush. The stencil pairs with your ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink, or Endura for the sharpest results. A damp sponge with face paint works too, though the fine detail suffers a bit at this stencil size.
- Fast character effect. A full Prancer look in 2 to 3 minutes. Ideal for busy Christmas markets or children's Christmas parties where you need to work through a queue quickly.
- Reusable. Mylar is tough and flexible. Clean it well, store it flat, and it will last for years.
- Follows the face contours. The thin, pliable mylar hugs the cheek, forehead, and nose bridge neatly so the edges stay in place.
How to use the stencil
- Place the stencil flat against one side of the face, with the eye cut-out positioned around the eye.
- Spray with the airbrush for the best, most detailed result. Or dab with a damp make-up sponge if you don't have an airbrush. Keep in mind that fine detail is harder to achieve at this stencil size.
- Lift the stencil straight off the face. Don't slide it across the skin or the lines will smear.
Tip with face paint: keep your sponge damp, not wet. Too much moisture and the paint seeps under the edges, giving you blurry lines.
Cleaning and storage
Used water-activated face paint? Rinse the stencil under lukewarm water with a little mild soap. Pat it dry gently and lay it flat until fully dry. Don't roll or fold it, otherwise the mylar develops permanent creases.
Used ProAiir Hybrid or Ink? Clean the stencil with 99.9% alcohol or ProAiir ProClean. These dissolve the alcohol-based paint without swelling the mylar.
For storage: keep the stencil flat in a stencil rack or between two sheets of paper inside a flat folder.
