ProAiir Profile Stencil Zombie Hand
The ProAiir Profile Stencils are designed to paint half a face in just a few minutes. With this Zombie Hand Profile Stencil, you place a creepy zombie hand design on the side of the face. Press the stencil against the face, airbrush over it, lift the stencil off, done. Perfect for Halloween, SFX work, horror photoshoots and themed events.
Note: these stencils are designed for use with an airbrush. Using a makeup sponge or finger sponge is possible, but the size of the stencil makes it more challenging.
What is the Profile Stencil Zombie Hand?
A reusable makeup stencil made from flexible, semi-transparent 7 mil mylar (approximately 0.18 mm thick). One character design per stencil: in this case a Zombie Hand design that sits on the side of the face for a horror or Halloween look.
The colours shown in the product images are examples only. The colours that land on the skin depend on the makeup you choose.
Why pick this stencil?
- Built for airbrush. This stencil works with your ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink or Endura for the sharpest result. You can use a damp sponge with water-activated makeup too, but the large format makes fine detail harder to achieve.
- Quick horror effect. A complete Zombie Hand look in 2 to 3 minutes. Ideal for busy Halloween events or workshops where you need to work through a lot of faces quickly.
- Reusable. Mylar is durable and flexible. Clean it properly and store it flat, and it will last for years.
- Follows the face. The thin, flexible mylar sits closely against the cheek, forehead and nose bridge without the edges lifting.
How to use the stencil
- Place the stencil flat against one side of the face, with the eye opening sitting around the eye.
- Spray with the airbrush for the best, most detailed result. Or dab with a damp makeup sponge if you don't have an airbrush. Bear in mind that the fine details become harder to achieve because of the stencil's size.
- Lift the stencil straight up. Don't slide it across the skin, or the lines will smear.
Tip with water-activated makeup: keep your sponge damp, not wet. Too much moisture and the makeup seeps under the edges, making your lines blurry.
Cleaning and storage
Used water-activated makeup? Rinse the stencil under lukewarm water with a little mild soap. Pat dry gently and leave it flat until fully dry. Don't roll it or fold it, or the mylar will crease permanently.
Used ProAiir Hybrid or Ink? Clean the stencil with 99.9% alcohol or ProAiir ProClean. These dissolve alcohol-based makeup without swelling the mylar.
For storage: keep the stencil flat in a stencil rack or between two sheets of paper in a flat folder.
