ProAiir Profile Stencil Creeper
The ProAiir Profile Stencils are designed to make up half a face in no time at all. With this Creeper Profile Stencil you place a recognisable Creeper character design on the side of the face. Hold the stencil flat against the face, press it down, airbrush, lift the stencil off, done. Ideal for Halloween looks, SFX photoshoots and horror-themed events.
Note: these stencils are intended for use with an airbrush. Using a makeup sponge or finger sponge is possible too, but the size of the stencil makes it more of a challenge.
What is the Profile Stencil Creeper?
A reusable makeup stencil made from flexible, semi-transparent 7 mil mylar (approximately 0.18 mm thick). One character design per stencil: in this case the Creeper character design that you place on the side of the face for an atmospheric horror look.
The colours shown in the product photos are examples. The colour that lands on the skin is entirely your own choice of makeup.
Why pick this stencil?
- Built for airbrush. The stencil works with your ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink or Endura for the sharpest results. A damp sponge with face paint works too, but the larger format makes finer detail trickier.
- Fast character effect. A full Creeper look in 2 to 3 minutes. Perfect for Halloween evenings when you need to make up multiple people quickly.
- Reusable. Mylar is tough and flexible. Clean it well and store it flat and it will last for years.
- Follows the shape of the face. The thin, pliable mylar sits close against the cheek, forehead and nose bridge without the edges lifting.
How to use the stencil
- Place the stencil flat against one half of the face, with the eye cut-out aligned around the eye.
- Spray with the airbrush for the best, most detailed result. Or dab with a damp makeup sponge if you don't have an airbrush. Bear in mind that the fine details are harder to achieve with a sponge due to the stencil's size.
- Lift the stencil straight up. Do not slide it across the skin or the lines will smear.
Tip when using face paint: keep your sponge damp but not wet. Too much moisture and the paint will seep under the edges, making your lines blurry.
Cleaning and storage
Used water-based face paint? Rinse the stencil under lukewarm water with a little mild soap. Pat it dry gently and leave it lying flat until fully dry. Do not roll or fold it, as this causes permanent creases in the mylar.
Used ProAiir Hybrid or Ink? Clean the stencil with 99.9% alcohol or ProAiir ProClean. Both dissolve the alcohol-based makeup without swelling the mylar.
For storage: keep the stencil flat in a stencil rack or between two sheets of paper inside a flat folder.
