ProAiir Profile Stencil Roses
The ProAiir Profile Stencils are built to cover half a face in one quick step. This Roses Profile Stencil places a floral character design on the side of the face. Position the stencil, press it flat, airbrush, lift, done. Perfect for kids parties, birthdays, and festival face painting.
Note: these stencils are designed for use with an airbrush. Using a makeup sponge or finger sponge is possible, but the size of the stencil makes it more challenging.
What is the Profile Stencil Roses?
A reusable makeup stencil made from flexible, semi-transparent 7 mil mylar (approximately 0.18 mm thick). One character design per stencil: in this case a Roses character design cut into mylar, placed on the side of the face and suited to kids and festive looks.
The colours shown in the product photos are examples. The colour that lands on skin is determined by the makeup you choose to use.
Why pick this stencil?
- Designed for airbrush. The stencil works with your ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink or Endura for the sharpest results. A damp sponge with water-activated makeup works too, but the size of the stencil makes fine detail harder to achieve.
- Fast character effect. A complete Roses look in 2 to 3 minutes. Ideal when you need to work through a queue of faces at a party or event.
- Reusable. Mylar is durable and flexible. Clean it properly and store it flat, and it will last for years.
- Follows the shape of the face. The thin, flexible mylar hugs the cheek, forehead, and nose bridge so edges stay in place during application.
How to use the stencil
- Place the stencil flat against one half of the face, with the eye cut-out aligned over the eye.
- Spray with the airbrush for the best, most detailed result. Or dab with a damp makeup sponge if you don't have an airbrush. Bear in mind that fine details are harder to achieve with a sponge at this size.
- Lift the stencil straight up. Don't slide it across the skin, or the lines will smear.
Tip for water-activated makeup: keep your sponge damp, not wet. Too much moisture and the makeup seeps under the edges, making your lines blurry.
Cleaning and storage
Used water-activated makeup? Rinse the stencil under lukewarm water with a little mild soap. Pat it dry gently and leave it to lie flat until fully dry. Don't roll or fold it, or the mylar will develop permanent creases.
Used ProAiir Hybrid or Ink? Clean the stencil with 99.9% alcohol or ProAiir ProClean. Both dissolve alcohol-based makeup without causing the mylar to swell.
For storage: keep the stencil flat in a stencil rack or between two sheets of paper inside a flat folder.
