ProAiir Profile Stencil Batty Witch
The ProAiir Profile Stencils are designed to schmink half a face in no time. With this Batty Witch Profile Stencil you place a horror witch character on the side of the face. Position the stencil, press it down, airbrush, lift it off, done. Perfect for Halloween, horror events, and theatre or film productions.
Note: these stencils are designed for use with an airbrush. Working with a makeup sponge or finger sponge is possible, but the size of the stencil makes this more challenging.
What is the Profile Stencil Batty Witch?
A reusable makeup stencil made from flexible, semi-transparent 7 mil mylar (approximately 0.18 mm thick). One character design per stencil: in this case the Batty Witch character, cut as a half-face stencil for the side of the face, ideal for horror and Halloween work.
The images in the product photos are examples. The colour that lands on the skin is determined by the makeup you choose.
Why pick this stencil?
- Designed for airbrush. The stencil works with your ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink, or Endura for the sharpest results. A damp sponge and face paint work too, but fine detail suffers at this stencil size.
- Fast character effect. A complete Batty Witch look in 2 to 3 minutes. Handy at busy Halloween events or workshops where you need to move quickly through a queue.
- Reusable. Mylar is durable and flexible. Clean it properly, store it flat, and it will last you years.
- Follows the shape of the face. The mylar is thin and pliable, so it sits neatly against the cheek, forehead, and nose bridge without the edges lifting.
How to use the stencil
- Place the stencil flat against one side of the face, with the eye opening positioned around the eye.
- Spray with an airbrush for the best, most detailed result. Or dab with a damp makeup sponge if you do not have an airbrush. Bear in mind that fine details are harder to achieve given the size of the stencil.
- Lift the stencil straight up. Do not slide it across the skin, or the lines will smear.
Tip for face paint: keep your sponge damp but not wet. Too much moisture and the paint seeps under the edges, giving you blurry lines.
Cleaning and storage
Used water-based face paint? Rinse the stencil under lukewarm water with a little mild soap. Pat it dry and leave it lying flat until completely dry. Do not roll it or fold it, as this causes permanent creases in the mylar.
Used ProAiir Hybrid or Ink? Clean the stencil with 99.9% alcohol or ProAiir ProClean. These dissolve the alcohol-based makeup without swelling the mylar.
For storage: keep the stencil flat in a stencil rack or between two sheets of paper inside a flat folder.
