Diamond FX Splitcake Strong Rose (30gr) - wax-based face paint
The Diamond FX Splitcake Strong Rose (30gr) is a professional wax-based face paint designed for the One Stroke technique. The splitcake combines Essential Black, Neon Pink and Essential White in a single cake. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours blending into each other straight away. This 30g cake paints 10 to 15 full faces.
Diamond FX is free from gluten, animal-derived ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The Essential colours in this splitcake are formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of both children and adults. Note: the Neon Pink is a special-effects pigment that glows under UV/blacklight and has been independently skin-safety tested. Browse all our other Diamond FX Splitcakes.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the paint with a little clean water. Spritz a fine mist onto the splitcake using a spray bottle, or dip a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush into the colours. Move your brush across the cake from colour to colour to pick up all three tones in one fluid stroke. Use a water pot and refresh the water between designs to keep your colours clean and bright.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for water-activated face paint with smooth synthetic hairs that won't shed. For flower details and fine lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Painting Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-based face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water next to your workspace prevents colours from muddying or going dull.
- Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining from the vibrant Neon Pink.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove the paint with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores, which can push pigment deeper into the skin - avoid it. Gently work the soap in and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the colour is gone.
For a cleaner, quicker removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - specially developed for removing Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a damp cloth that lifts the paint in one wipe, ideal at events and children's parties when you're painting lots of faces in a row

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the paint?
Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear on first use. There is no effect on quality or longevity.
Is Diamond FX safe for children?
The Essential colours in the Strong Rose splitcake are free from gluten, fragrance, parabens, lanolin and animal-derived ingredients. They are formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. The Neon Pink is independently skin-safety tested as a special-effects pigment. Always do a patch test 24 hours beforehand on sensitive skin.
How many faces can you paint with 30g?
A 30g cake paints approximately 10 to 15 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only become fully vivid under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vibrant.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos were taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
