The Diamond FX Splitcake Evil Rose 30gr is a professional wax-based face paint designed for the One Stroke technique. The four colours - Essential Black Eye, Essential Red, Neon Magenta and Essential White - are placed side by side so a single brush stroke picks up a rose gradient with dark accents. Thanks to the wax base, the colours build up in layers without immediately bleeding into each other. With 30 grams you can face paint 10 to 15 complete faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the splitcake with a little clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle or use a slightly damp brush. Sweep your brush broadly across all colours at once to pick up the gradient in a single stroke. Use a water container and refresh the water regularly to keep your colours clean and bright.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for water-activated face paint with soft synthetic bristles. For fine petal and line work, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For backgrounds and base colours, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water container with fresh water next to your workspace prevents colours from muddying or turning dull.
• Protective layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining from the deep reds and blacks in this splitcake.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cold to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores and drives pigment deeper into skin - avoid it. Gently work the soap in and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the paint is gone.

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear on their own during use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only come alive under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vibrant.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?

Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings.
