Diamond FX Splitcake Hawaiian Cocktail (30gr) - wax-based face paint
The Diamond FX Splitcake Hawaiian Cocktail (30gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with three colours in one cake: Essential Sea Green, Neon Magenta and Essential Yellow. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours bleeding into each other straight away. With this 30g cake you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.
Diamond FX Splitcakes are gluten-free, free from animal ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The Essential colours in this cake are formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Please note: Neon Magenta is a neon pigment that has been independently skin-safety tested - use it for expressive looks, not for everyday cosmetic use. Browse all our other Diamond FX Splitcakes.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the paint with a small amount of clean water. Spritz a fine mist onto the cake with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Move the brush in one smooth stroke across all three colours to pick up a smooth gradient. Work with a water container and refresh the water regularly to keep colours clean and bright.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for water-activated face paint with soft synthetic bristles that don't leave fluff behind. For detail work and fine lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For covering large areas, use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water container with fresh water next to your workspace prevents colours from mixing or turning muddy.
- Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier coat makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense colours like the bright neon pink.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - best avoided. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the paint is gone.
For a cleaner and quicker removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - specially developed for removing Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a damp cloth that wipes away face paint in one go, ideal at events and children's parties where you paint many faces in a row

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the cake?
Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, resulting in surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the cake. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX safe for children?
The Essential colours in this cake are gluten-free, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free and contain no animal ingredients. They are formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Neon Magenta is a neon pigment that has been independently skin-safety tested - not intended for everyday cosmetic use. Always do a patch test 24 hours in advance on sensitive skin.
How many faces can you paint with 30g?
A 30g cake covers approximately 10 to 15 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only come alive under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is one of its key strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos were taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
