Diamond FX Splitcake Neon Surprise 30gr - face paint wax-based
The Diamond FX Splitcake Neon Surprise 30gr is a professional wax-based face paint with four vivid neon colours in one compact: Neon Blue, Neon Green, Neon Yellow and Neon Orange. The colours glow under UV/blacklight and are bright and opaque under regular light. The wax base lets you pick up multiple colours in a single brush stroke, making one-stroke designs effortless. With this 30 gram compact you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.
Diamond FX Neon is gluten-free, free from animal-derived ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The Neon range is independently skin-safety tested. Neon colours are special-effects pigments - use them for UV/blacklight effects and festivals, not for everyday cosmetic use. Browse all Diamond FX Neon colours.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the face paint with a little clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps your colours sharp and true - use a water pot and refresh it between colours.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Painting Brushes are made specifically for water-activated face paint with smooth synthetic bristles that don't shed. For detail work and lines use the FBFX Round Face Painting Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For large areas work with a Yellow Face Painting Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water next to your workspace prevents the neon colours from muddying or becoming dull.
- Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense neon pigments.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores, allowing pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Gently massage the soap in and rinse well. Repeat until all colour is gone.
For a quicker, cleaner finish without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - specially developed for removing Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a damp cloth that wipes off face paint in one go, ideal at festivals and children's parties where you paint one face after another

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?
Temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the product. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX Neon safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX Neon is gluten-free, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free and contains no animal-derived ingredients. Neon is special-effects pigmentation and independently skin-safety tested, but not classified as an everyday FDA cosmetic - use it for UV/blacklight effects rather than daily cosmetic use. Always do a patch test 24 hours in advance for sensitive skin.
How many faces can you paint with 30 grams?
With a 30 gram compact you can paint approximately 10 to 15 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only become vivid under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and bright.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is one of its key strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on monitor settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
