Diamond FX Splitcake Green Fairy (30gr) - face paint on wax base
The Diamond FX Splitcake Green Fairy (30gr) is a professional one stroke face paint on a wax base with five fairy shades in one compact: Metallic Green, Sea Green, Pastel Blue, Pale Green and White. The wax base lets you build up layers without colours bleeding into each other. With 30 grams you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.
Diamond FX Splitcake is gluten-free, free from animal ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The splitcakes are formulated with EU and FDA compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Browse all our Diamond FX Splitcakes.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. With the one stroke technique, sweep your brush across all the colours in one movement to pick up the green-to-white gradient in a single stroke. Use a water container and refresh the water regularly to keep colours clean and bright.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for face paint with flexible synthetic bristles that don't shed. For fine details and delicate wings, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water container with fresh water beside your workspace prevents colours from muddying or turning dull.
- Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense shades like dark green or metallic green.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove the face paint with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cold to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores and drives pigment deeper into the skin - best avoided. Gently rub in the soap and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the colour is gone.
For a quicker, cleaner removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - specially developed for removing Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a damp cloth that takes the paint off in one swipe, ideal at parties where you're painting many children in a row

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?
Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear on their own when you start using it. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX Splitcake is gluten-free, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free and contains no animal ingredients. The splitcakes are formulated with EU and FDA compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Always do a patch test 24 hours in advance on sensitive skin.
How many faces can you paint with 30 grams?
A 30 gram pot gives you approximately 10 to 15 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent in regular light and only become vibrant under blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and bright.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that's actually one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour correction. Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
