Diamond FX Splitcake Neon Disco (30gr) - wax-based face paint
The Diamond FX Splitcake Neon Disco (30gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with three vivid neon colours in one compact: Neon Magenta, Neon Purple and Neon Yellow. These colours glow under UV/blacklight and are bold and bright in daylight too. The wax base lets you build up layers without colours bleeding into each other. With 30g you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.
Diamond FX Neon is gluten-free, free from animal-derived ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The Neon range is independently skin-safety tested. Neon colours are special-effects pigments - use them for UV/blacklight effects and festivals, not for everyday cosmetic use. Browse all our Diamond FX Neon colours.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the face paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or dip a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush into the colour. For the one stroke technique, sweep your brush back and forth across the splitcake to pick up all three colours at once. Use a water tub and refresh the water between colours to keep your results clean and vibrant.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are designed for water-activated face paint with soft synthetic fibres that won't leave fluff. For detail work and sharp lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For large areas, use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water tub with fresh water next to your workspace prevents colours from mixing or turning dull.
- Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense neon shades.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores and draws pigment deeper into the skin - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the colour is gone.
For a cleaner and quicker removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - developed specifically for removing Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a damp cloth that wipes face paint away in one go, ideal at festivals and events where you're painting many people in quick succession

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?
Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the product. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX Neon safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX Neon is gluten-free, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free and contains no animal-derived ingredients. Neon is special-effects pigmentation and independently skin-safety tested, but not classified as a standard cosmetic by the FDA - use it for UV/blacklight effects and not for everyday cosmetic use. Always do a patch test 24 hours in advance for sensitive skin.
How many faces can you paint with 30g?
With a 30g pot you can paint approximately 10 to 15 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent in regular light and only come alive under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is one of its key strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos were taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
