Diamond FX Splitcake Neon Sun (30gr) - face paint wax-based
The Diamond FX Splitcake Neon Sun (30gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with four vibrant neon colours in one splitcake: Neon Blue, Neon Purple, Neon Magenta and Neon Orange. A single brush stroke picks up all four colours at once for a seamless colour blend. All four colours glow under UV/blacklight. This 30g cake paints 10 to 15 full faces.
Diamond FX Neon is gluten-free, free from animal-derived ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The Neon range is independently skin-safety tested. Neon colours are special-effects pigments - use them for UV/blacklight effects and festivals, not for everyday cosmetic use. Browse all our other Diamond FX Neon colours.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the face paint with a little clean water. Mist the splitcake lightly with a spray bottle, or load a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush directly across all four colour sections. Drag the brush in one stroke over the cake to pick up all the neon colours at once. Clean water keeps your colours crisp - use a water pot and refresh it regularly.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are designed for face paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no fluff behind. For fine lines and detail work, use the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For broad areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water pot with clean water next to your workspace stops colours muddying or going dull.
- Barrier layer for intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense neon pigments.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove the face paint with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and lets pigment sink deeper - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the colour is gone.
For a cleaner, quicker removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - formulated specifically for removing Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a damp cloth that lifts the face paint in one wipe, ideal at festivals and events where you paint many people in a row

Frequently asked questions
Why does the face paint sometimes have small cracks?
Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear during use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX Neon safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX Neon is gluten-free, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free and contains no animal-derived ingredients. Neon is special-effects pigmentation and independently skin-safety tested, but not classified as FDA cosmetic-grade - use it for UV/blacklight effects, not for everyday cosmetic use. Always do a patch test 24 hours before use on sensitive skin.
How many faces can you paint with 30g?
A 30g splitcake paints approximately 10 to 15 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only come alive under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is actually one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
