The Diamond FX Splitcake Posie (30gr) is a one stroke face paint on wax-basis with four colours in one cake: Essential Dark Blue, Essential Black Eye, Essential Lavender and Essential White. Because of the wax base, all four colours load onto your brush at once, so you paint a complete floral design in a single stroke. With 30 grams you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a small amount of clean water. Spritz a fine mist onto the cake using a spray bottle, or dip a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush directly into the splitcake. Move the brush slowly across all four colours to load them together. Use a water pot and refresh the water regularly for clean, vibrant colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are designed specifically for water-activated face paint with smooth synthetic hairs that leave no fluff. For fine petal details, use the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For larger areas use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with clean water next to your workspace prevents colours from mixing or turning dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin first. This barrier layer makes removal easier and prevents staining with the dark blue and black in this splitcake.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cold to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Gently massage in the soap and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all colour is gone.

Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?

Large temperature differences during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear on their own during use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only become vibrant under blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
