The Diamond FX Splitcake Flabbergasted (50gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with six rainbow colours in one cake: Essential Red, Essential Orange, Essential Yellow, Essential Light Green, Essential Blue and Essential Purple. The wax base lets you build up colour in layers without them bleeding into each other - perfect for smooth one stroke rainbow designs. With 50 grams you can paint roughly 15 to 22 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a little clean water. Mist the surface with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours pure and vivid - use a water pot and refresh it between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are designed for face paint with smooth synthetic bristles that don't shed. For detail work and sharp lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water next to your workspace stops colours from mixing or going dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier layer makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense pigments.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Gently work the soap in and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the paint is gone.

Why are there sometimes small cracks in the paint?

Large temperature differences during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, resulting in surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the cake. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only become vivid under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and bright.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?

Yes, that is one of its strong points. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour adjustment. Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings.
