The Diamond FX Splitcake Green Carpet (50gr) is a professional wax-based face paint combining five green shades and black in a single cake. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours immediately bleeding into each other. With 50 grams you can paint 15 to 22 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a little clean water. Spritz a fine mist onto the splitcake with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours vivid - use a water pot and refresh the water between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for water-activated face paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no fluff. For detail work and fine lines use the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas like a snake base or jungle design, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A pot of clean water next to your workstation stops the five green shades from going dull or mixing unintentionally.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense greens.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with mild, non-moisturising soap and cold to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse well. Repeat until all the paint is gone.

Can you paint Diamond FX over other colours?
