ProAiir Profile Stencil Bella
The ProAiir Profile Stencils are designed to paint half a face in no time. With this Bella Profile Stencil you apply a sweet, child-friendly character design to the side of the face. Place the stencil, press it flat, airbrush, lift, done. A great choice for kids parties, festivals and themed events.
Note: these stencils are designed for use with an airbrush. Using a makeup sponge or finger sponge is possible, but the size of the stencil makes it more challenging.
What is the Profile Stencil Bella?
A reusable face paint stencil made from flexible, semi-transparent 7 mil mylar (approximately 0.18 mm thick). One character design per stencil: in this case the Bella character design, cut for the side of the face, suitable for children and party looks.
The colours shown in the product photos are examples. The colour that lands on the skin is entirely your choice, based on the makeup you use.
Why pick this stencil?
- Designed for airbrush. The stencil works with your ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink or Endura for the sharpest results. A damp sponge with face paint works too, but the larger format means less fine detail.
- Fast character effect. A complete Bella look in 2 to 3 minutes. Ideal when you are working your way through a queue of children at a party.
- Reusable. Mylar is durable and flexible. Clean it properly and store it flat and it will last for years.
- Follows the face. The thin, flexible mylar fits snugly against the cheek, forehead and nose bridge without the edges lifting.
How to use the stencil
- Place the stencil flat against one side of the face, with the eye cut-out aligned around the eye.
- Airbrush for the best, most detailed result. Or dab with a damp makeup sponge if you do not have an airbrush. Keep in mind that the finer details are harder to achieve with a sponge due to the size of the stencil.
- Lift the stencil straight up. Do not slide it across the skin or the lines will blur.
Tip for face paint: keep your sponge damp, not wet. Too much moisture and the paint seeps under the edges, leaving blurry lines.
Cleaning and storage
Used it with face paint? Rinse the stencil under lukewarm water with mild soap. Pat dry gently and leave it lying flat until it is completely dry. Do not roll or fold it, or the mylar will develop permanent creases.
Used ProAiir Hybrid or Ink? Clean the stencil with 99.9% alcohol or ProAiir ProClean. These dissolve the alcohol-based paint without swelling the mylar.
For storage: keep the stencil flat in a stencil rack or between two sheets of paper inside a flat folder.
