The Diamond FX Splitcake Wild Berry (50gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with six colours in one cake for the one stroke technique. These splitcakes are formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Please note: this splitcake includes a Neon Magenta - a neon pigment that glows under UV/blacklight. Browse all other Diamond FX Splitcakes.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the colours lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Load your brush across multiple colours in one stroke for a smooth colour transition. Use a water pot and refresh your water between colours to keep shades clean and vibrant.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for face paint with smooth synthetic fibres that leave no fluff. For detail work and linework, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water pot with clean water next to your workspace prevents colours from mixing or looking dull.
- Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier layer makes removal easier and prevents staining (pigment residue) with intense shades like the neon magenta in this cake.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cold to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores, allowing pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid this. Gently work in the soap and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all face paint is gone.
For a cleaner and quicker removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - specially developed for removing Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a moist towel that takes off the face paint in one wipe, ideal at events and children's parties where you paint many faces in a row
What to use Diamond FX Splitcake Wild Berry for
- Children's parties and birthday events - butterflies, flowers, fairies, and princesses in a single stroke
- Festivals and fancy dress - vibrant raspberry, pink, and yellow tones suit colourful carnival and costume looks
- UV/blacklight events and festivals - the Neon Magenta in this cake glows under UV/blacklight for extra impact
- Body painting - flowing colour transitions in warm pink tones for florals, abstract designs, and backgrounds
- Theatre and stage performances - quick, colourful makeup with minimal tools, ideal backstage

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?
Large temperature fluctuations during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. These usually disappear with use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX Splitcakes are gluten-free and free from fragrance, parabens, lanolin, and animal ingredients. The Essential and Metallic colours in this cake are formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. The Neon Magenta is a special-effects pigment that has been independently skin-safety tested. Always patch-test on sensitive skin 24 hours in advance.
How many faces can you paint with 50 grams?
With a 50-gram cake you can paint around 15 to 22 complete faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic, and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet, and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only become vivid under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vibrant.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax-based formula and high pigment mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos were taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
