Diamond FX Splitcake Dutch Delight (50gr) - wax-based face paint
The Diamond FX Splitcake Dutch Delight (50gr) is a professional one-stroke face paint on a wax base with four metallic shades in one block: Metallic White, Metallic Baby Blue, Metallic Pink and Metallic Purple. The wax base lets you pick up multiple colours in a single stroke, so you can create vibrant designs quickly. This 50-gram block gives you around 15 to 22 full face paints.
Diamond FX is gluten-free, free from animal ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The Metallic range is formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Browse all our Diamond FX Metallic colours.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or load a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush directly from the splitcake. Clean water keeps colours bright and true - use a water bowl and refresh the water regularly.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are purpose-made for face paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no fibres behind. For detail work and fine lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For broad strokes and large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water bowl with fresh water next to your station stops metallic shades from turning dull or muddying together.
- Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin coat of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents pigment residue from metallic shades.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Gently work the soap in and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until the paint is fully removed.
For a cleaner, faster removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - specially developed to remove Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a moist wipe that lifts the paint in one pass, ideal at events and children's parties where you paint face after face

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?
Large temperature swings during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the paint. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX Metallic is gluten-free, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free and contains no animal ingredients. The Metallic range is formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Always do a patch test 24 hours in advance for sensitive skin.
How many faces can you paint with 50 grams?
A 50-gram block gives you around 15 to 22 full face paints, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only come to life under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
