Diamond FX Splitcake Double Dutch (50gr) - wax-based face paint
The Diamond FX Splitcake Double Dutch (50gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with four colours in one compact: Metallic Purple, Neon Magenta, Essential White and Essential Light Blue. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours bleeding into each other. With 50 grams you can paint 15 to 22 full faces.
Diamond FX is gluten-free, free from animal ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The Double Dutch combines colours from the Essential, Metallic and Neon ranges. The Essential and Metallic colours comply with EU and FDA cosmetic guidelines and are suitable for children's and adults' skin. The Neon Magenta is independently skin-safety tested as a special-effects pigment. Browse all Diamond FX Splitcakes.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the face paint with a small amount of clean water. Spritz a fine mist onto the splitcake with a spray bottle, or load a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours bright and true - use a water container and refresh it between colours.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are designed for face paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no fibres behind. For detail work and lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For covering large areas, use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water container with clean water next to your workstation prevents colours mixing or turning dull.
- Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense shades like Neon Magenta or Metallic Purple.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid this. Gently work the soap in and rinse well. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.
For a cleaner and quicker removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - specially formulated to remove Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a wet wipe that takes the paint off in one go, ideal at events and children's parties where you're painting lots of faces in a row
What to use Diamond FX Splitcake Double Dutch for
- King's Day and national celebrations - the red, white and blue combination (Neon Magenta as the bright accent, Light Blue and White) works perfectly for Dutch-themed looks
- Children's parties and events - a single stroke across the compact delivers an instant multicolour streak for butterflies, flowers or flag designs
- One stroke face painting - all four colours applied in one movement for quick, colourful results
- Fancy dress and themed parties - strong pigment that holds its colour throughout a long day of celebrations
- UV and blacklight events - the Neon Magenta glows under UV/blacklight, perfect for festivals and glow parties

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?
Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear with use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX safe for children?
The Essential White and Essential Light Blue are gluten-free, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free, contain no animal ingredients, comply with EU and FDA cosmetic guidelines and are suitable for children's and adults' sensitive skin. The Neon Magenta is independently skin-safety tested as a special-effects pigment. Always do a patch test 24 hours before use on sensitive skin.
How many faces can you paint with 50 grams?
A 50-gram compact covers approximately 15 to 22 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent in regular light and only become vivid under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and bright.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
