Diamond FX Splitcake Color Splash (50gr) - one stroke face paint wax-based
The Diamond FX Splitcake Color Splash (50gr) is a one stroke face paint on wax basis with six neon colours in one cake: Neon Pink, Neon Orange, Neon Yellow, Neon Green, Neon Blue and Neon Magenta. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours immediately bleeding into each other. The colours glow under UV/blacklight - perfect for festivals, raves and Halloween events. With this 50 gram cake you can paint approximately 15 to 22 full faces.
Diamond FX Splitcakes are gluten-free, free from animal ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The Neon range is independently skin-safety tested. Neon colours are special-effects pigments - use them for UV/blacklight effects and festivals, not for regular cosmetic use. Browse all our Diamond FX Neon colours.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the paint with a little clean water. Mist the cake lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Sweep your brush or sponge across all six colours in one stroke to create an instant neon rainbow. Clean water keeps colours vivid and clear - use a water tub and refresh it regularly.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for water-activated face paint with soft synthetic bristles that don't shed. For detailed line work, use the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For broad neon areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
- Keep your water clean. Especially with neon colours - even a little dirty water makes them look dull immediately.
- Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining from the intense neon shades.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove the paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cold to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores, allowing pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid this. Gently rub in the soap and rinse well. Repeat until all the paint is gone.
For a cleaner and quicker removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - specially developed for removing Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a moist cloth that takes off the paint in one wipe, ideal at festivals and events where you paint many people in a row

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the paint?
Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, creating surface cracks. They usually disappear with use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX Neon safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX Neon is gluten-free, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free and contains no animal ingredients. Neon is special-effects pigmentation and independently skin-safety tested, but not classified as FDA-cosmetic - use it for UV/blacklight effects and not for everyday cosmetic use. Always do a patch test 24 hours in advance for sensitive skin.
How many faces can you paint with 50 grams?
With a 50 gram cake you can paint approximately 15 to 22 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only come fully alive under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vibrant.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation ensure the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
