How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the splitcake lightly with a spray bottle, or dip a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush directly onto the colour. Clean water keeps the metallic shades pure and vivid - use a water pot and refresh between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Painting Brushes are made specifically for face paint with smooth synthetic hairs that leave no fluff. For detail work and fine lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Painting Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas work with a Yellow Face Painting Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water at your side stops metallic shades from muddying or going dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier coat makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense metallic shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cold to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid this. Gently massage in the soap and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all paint is gone.

Can you paint Diamond FX over other colours?
