Diamond FX Splitcake Smiling Parrot (50gr) - wax-based face paint
The Diamond FX Splitcake Smiling Parrot (50gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with six colours in one cake: bright yellows and greens alongside a neon green, a pearlescent night blue and a metallic green. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours bleeding into each other. With this 50g cake you can paint approximately 15 to 22 full faces.
Diamond FX Splitcakes are gluten-free, free from animal ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The Essential and Metallic colours in this cake are formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Note: this cake also contains a Neon Green, which is independently skin-safety tested as a special-effects pigment. Browse all Diamond FX Splitcakes.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the paint with a little clean water. Mist the cake lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours vivid and true - use a water pot and rinse between colours.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made for water-activated paints with soft synthetic fibres that leave no fluff. For detail work and line work, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For large areas, use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water next to your station prevents the bright yellows and greens from turning muddy.
- Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin coat of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense shades like dark green or neon.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the colour is gone.

- Remover Towel - a damp cloth that lifts the paint in one wipe, perfect at events and parties where you are painting one child after another

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the paint?
Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, resulting in surface cracks. They almost always disappear once you start using the cake. Quality and shelf life are not affected.
Is Diamond FX safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX Splitcakes are gluten-free, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free and contain no animal ingredients. The Essential and Metallic colours in this cake are formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. The Neon Green is independently skin-safety tested as a special-effects pigment. Always do a patch test 24 hours in advance for sensitive skin.
How many faces can you paint with 50g?
A 50g cake gives you approximately 15 to 22 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent in regular light and only come alive under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.
Can you paint Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers cleanly without the layer underneath showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
