Which skin discolourations can you cover with this palette?
The six shades are assembled specifically for colour correction. Blue Neutralizer No.1 (NB-1) and Blue Neutralizer No.3 (NB-3) target dark circles and blue-purple discolouration. Red Neutralizer No.1 (NR-1) and Special Green Concealer No.1 (GC-1) counteract redness and irritation. Tattoo Cover No.1 (NT-1) and Mellow Yellow Classic (MY-3) complete the set for ink-heavy and brown-toned tattoos.
This means the palette handles not just tattoos, but most common skin discolourations you encounter on set or on stage.
When do you choose this wheel over a single concealer?
A single concealer gives you one shade. This wheel gives you six complementary colours to mix and match. You pick the neutraliser that fits the specific discolouration, rather than masking everything with one opaque colour.
Choose this palette when you work across different skin tones or skin conditions in a single session. It keeps your kit compact and your workflow faster than buying separate products.
How to use
Apply the cream with a Mehron Latex Foam Sponge for soft transitions, or with your fingers for a warm blend. Use a fine brush for precise edges. Mix shades directly in the palette or on a mixing palette with a drop of 99% alcohol for a more transparent coverage. The formula works directly on skin as well as over latex, gelatine, wax, silicone and prosthetics.
Pro tip: When covering a dark tattoo, always start with Tattoo Cover No.1 (NT-1) as your first layer over the ink. Follow with Mellow Yellow Classic (MY-3) if the tattoo has yellow or brown tones. Then apply your skin-match shade from your own palette for a seamless finish.
Setting and removing
Set the cream immediately after application with a setting powder. Use a powder puff for full coverage and brush away excess powder with a soft brush. Without setting, the cream will transfer on contact.
To remove, use an oil-based makeup remover. Water and soap are not sufficient for this type of formula.
