What skin issues can you cover with this wheel?
This wheel is built around full neutralisation and concealing for fair to light complexions. The colour set includes correctors, highlights and a soft orange shade to neutralise redness. You can fully conceal tattoos, redness, pigmentation and scars with it.
The six shades work together: a green corrector for redness, a yellow highlight for neutralising, a mild orange for cool undertones, two ultra fair to fair coverage shades and a light cream highlight as a finishing shade.
When do you choose this wheel over a single concealer?
A single concealer gives you one colour and one function. This wheel gives you six coordinated shades in one compact format. You can mix directly on the skin or on a palette, adjust per zone and work faster on more complex camouflage jobs.
Choose this wheel if you regularly need to conceal tattoos, redness or blemishes on fair-skinned clients and don't want to juggle multiple separate products.
How to use it
Apply the crème makeup with a Mehron Latex Foam Sponge for soft, stippled blending, or with your fingers for warm blending. For a sheerer application, mix on a palette with a drop of 99% alcohol and apply with a brush. Always finish with a setting powder for lasting wear.
Pro tip: Start with GC-1 Special Green Concealer to neutralise redness, then build coverage with CC-1 or CC-2 as your skin tone base, and set with HY-1 Special Yellow Highlight for an even, natural finish.
Setting and removing
Always set crème makeup with a setting powder applied with a powder puff. This makes the makeup water-resistant and significantly extends wear time.
Remove with a gentle makeup remover such as Ben Nye Quick Cleanse, or with soap and water. An oil-based remover works especially well with the crème formula.
