Woochie Latex Werewolf Nose Large
The Woochie Latex Werewolf Nose Large is a ready-to-wear latex nose prosthetic by Woochie for a convincing werewolf look. Apply it, colour it in with your skin tone or a grey-green werewolf shade, and your horror, Halloween or SFX look is complete.
What is the Werewolf Nose Large?
A latex prosthetic shaped like a wide, animal-style werewolf nose with raised nostrils and a rough texture. The edges are thinly finished so they blend smoothly into your skin. Remove the prosthetic carefully after use, clean it, and store it dry - you can use it multiple times.
Why does this prosthetic work so well?
No moulding, no waiting for drying time, no liquid latex to build up layer by layer. The shape is already there. Your work is in blending the edges and painting it in. That is where you make the difference.
How do you apply the Werewolf Nose Large?
Hold the prosthetic dry against your nose first to find the right position. Do this before you apply any adhesive.
Apply a thin layer of skin adhesive to both the back of the prosthetic and your skin. Pros-Aide is the standard for long-lasting hold; for a quicker application you can also use spirit gum. Let the adhesive become tacky before pressing the prosthetic onto your skin.
Press the prosthetic firmly from the centre outwards to the edges. Blend the edges with liquid latex or Pros-Aide Cream. Multiple thin coats give the smoothest transition. Powder the edges with setting powder before you move on to colouring the prosthetic.
Painting
Colour the prosthetic with water-activated face paint, grease paint or alcohol-activated makeup (such as Encore palettes). Work in thin layers. Start with a skin-toned or grey-green base that matches your overall werewolf look, add darker shadow into the nostril wings and hollows, then finish with light highlights on the highest point of the nose for extra depth.
Setting and removal
Set your colour work with setting powder so nothing smudges. To remove, work a Pros-Aide remover such as Mouldlife Life Wipes, Ben Nye Remove it All or Pro-clean Cleansing Oil under the edges, lift the prosthetic gently and rinse the skin with lukewarm water afterwards.
What can you use it for?
- Halloween costume with a full werewolf look
- Cosplay as a werewolf character or fantasy creature
- SFX shoots and film or theatre productions
- Haunted houses and horror events where details matter
- Practice work for make-up artists working with latex prosthetics
