ProAiir QuickEZ Giraffe Stencil
This stencil puts a crisp giraffe pattern on skin in a matter of seconds. Press it down, apply with an airbrush, a sponge or a finger sponge, lift it off, done. The quickest route to a convincing animal effect for body paint, kids' parties and theatre productions.
What is the QuickEZ Giraffe stencil?
A reusable face paint stencil made from flexible, semi-transparent 7 mil mylar (approximately 0.18 mm thick).
The designs shown in the product photos are examples; the colour that lands on the skin is entirely your choice depending on which paint you use.
Size: approx. 11.4 x 14 cm, one design per stencil. The tab has a hole so you can hang it on a key ring or stencil rack.
Why pick this stencil?
- Airbrush and manual use. Works with ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink, Endura and with a sponge and water-activated face paint. You choose the technique that suits the job.
- Fast results. Press on, airbrush or sponge, lift off, done. Perfect when you have a long queue of faces at a kids' party or busy event.
- Reusable. Mylar is tough and flexible. Clean it properly and store it flat, and it will last you many seasons and shows.
- Conforms to the body. The mylar is thin and pliable, so it sits neatly against the cheek, shoulder or décolletage.
How to use the stencil
- Hold the stencil flat against the skin where you want the giraffe motif to appear.
- Spray with the airbrush or dab with a damp sponge.
- Lift the stencil straight up. Do not slide it across the skin or the edges will smear.
Tip with water-activated face paint: keep your sponge damp, not wet. Too much moisture and the paint seeps under the edges, giving you blurry lines.
Cleaning and storage
Rinse the stencil after use with lukewarm water and mild soap. Pat it dry gently and leave it lying flat until completely dry. Do not roll it or fold it, or the mylar will develop permanent creases.
Been working with ProAiir Hybrid? Rub the stencil with a thin layer of mild soap first, then rinse with lukewarm water. That loosens the alcohol-based paint from the mylar.
For storage: hang the stencil from the tab hole, or keep it between two sheets of paper in a flat folder.
