ProAiir QuickEZ Cobra Skin Stencil

The QuickEZ Cobra Skin stencil lets you add a cobra skin pattern to the body in seconds. Press it against the skin, apply with your airbrush, sponge or finger sponge, lift it off and you're done. The fastest route to a realistic snake-skin effect on the cheek, arm or back.

What is the QuickEZ Cobra Skin stencil?

A reusable face and body paint stencil made from flexible, semi-transparent 7 mil mylar (approximately 0.18 mm thick).

The designs shown in the product photos are examples; the colour that lands on the skin is whatever you choose with your own face paint or body paint.

Size: approx. 11.4 x 14 cm, one design per stencil. The tab has a hole so you can hang it on a keyring or stencil rack.

Why pick this stencil?

• Airbrush and hand application. Works with ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink, Endura and regular water-activated face paint. You choose the technique that fits the job.
• Quick results. Press, airbrush or sponge, lift off, done. Perfect when you need a sharp snake-skin detail fast on an event or body paint shoot without any freehand drawing.
• Reusable. Mylar is durable and flexible. Clean it properly and store it flat and it will last through many shows and shoots.
• Follows the contours of the body. The thin, flexible mylar sits flush against curved surfaces like the shoulder, upper arm or cheek.

How to use the stencil

1. Hold the stencil flat against the skin where you want the cobra skin pattern.
2. Spray with your airbrush or dab with a damp sponge.
3. Lift the stencil straight up. Do not slide it across the skin or the edges will smear.

Tip for water-activated face paint: keep your sponge damp, not wet. Too much moisture and the paint seeps under the edges, leaving you with blurry lines.

Cleaning and storage

Rinse the stencil after use with lukewarm water and mild soap. Pat it dry gently and leave it lying flat until fully dry. Do not roll or fold it or the mylar will develop permanent creases.

If you have worked with ProAiir Hybrid: rub the stencil first with a thin layer of mild soap, then rinse it under lukewarm water. That releases the alcohol-based paint from the mylar.

For storage: hang the stencil on the tab hole or keep it between two sheets of paper in a flat folder.
