ProAiir QuickEZ Dragon Scales Stencil
This stencil puts a Dragon Scales pattern on skin in a matter of seconds. Press it down, apply colour with an airbrush, makeup sponge or finger sponge, lift the stencil off. The quickest route to a convincing scale effect without freehand skill.
What is the QuickEZ Dragon Scales stencil?
A reusable makeup stencil made from flexible, semi-transparent 7 mil mylar (approximately 0.18 mm thick).
The designs shown in the product photos are examples. The colour that lands on the skin is entirely your choice of makeup.
Size: approx. 11.4 x 14 cm, one Dragon Scales design per stencil. The tab has a hole so you can hang the stencil on a keyring or stencil rack.
Why pick this stencil?
- Airbrush and hand application. Works with ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink, Endura and regular sponge with water-activated face paint. You pick the technique that suits the job.

- Reusable. Mylar is durable and flexible. Clean it well, store it flat, and it will last through many shows and shoots.
- Follows body contours. The thin, pliable mylar hugs curved surfaces like an arm, shoulder or back.
How to use the stencil
- Hold the stencil flat against the skin where you want the Dragon Scales pattern.
- Spray with the airbrush or dab with a damp makeup sponge.
- Lift the stencil straight up. Do not slide it across the skin or the lines will smear.
Tip with water-activated face paint: keep your sponge damp, not wet. Too much moisture and the paint seeps under the edges, blurring the lines.
Cleaning and storage
Rinse the stencil after use with lukewarm water and mild soap. Pat it gently dry and leave it lying flat until fully dry. Do not roll or fold it, as mylar develops permanent creases.
Used ProAiir Hybrid? Rub a thin layer of mild soap over the stencil first, then rinse with lukewarm water. This loosens the alcohol-based makeup from the mylar.
For storage: hang the stencil from the tab hole, or keep it flat between two sheets of paper in a folder.
