Press the stencil against the cheek or arm, airbrush or sponge over it, lift it off: the zebra print is done. The QuickEZ Zebra is the fastest route to a convincing animal print without drawing every stripe by hand. Use it with an airbrush, a make-up sponge or a finger sponge.
What is the QuickEZ Zebra stencil?
A reusable face paint stencil made from flexible, semi-transparent 7 mil mylar (approximately 0.18 mm thick).
The designs shown in the product photos are examples only; the colour that lands on the skin is the one you choose with your make-up.
Size: approx. 11.4 x 14 cm, one design per stencil. The tab has a hole so you can hang the stencil on a key ring or stencil rack.
Why pick this stencil?
- Airbrush and hand application. Works with ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink, Endura and ordinary face paint with a sponge. You choose the technique that suits the job.
- Fast results. Press, spray or stipple, lift, done. Ideal when you have a long queue of faces at an event or kids' party.
- Reusable. Mylar is tough and flexible. Clean it properly and store it flat, and it will last through many shows and seasons.
- Follows the contour of the skin. The thin, flexible mylar hugs the cheek, arm or décolleté, even on rounder surfaces.
How to use the stencil
- Hold the stencil flat against the skin where you want the zebra motif.
- Spray with the airbrush or stipple with a damp make-up sponge.
- Lift the stencil straight up. Do not slide it across the skin or the lines will smear.
Tip for water-activated face paint: keep your sponge damp, not wet. Too much moisture and the paint seeps under the edges, blurring your lines.
Cleaning and storage
Rinse the stencil with lukewarm water and mild soap after use. Pat it dry gently and lay it flat until completely dry. Do not roll or fold it, as this causes permanent creases in the mylar.
Used ProAiir Hybrid? Rub a thin layer of mild soap onto the stencil first, then rinse with lukewarm water. That lifts the alcohol-based paint out of the mylar.
For storage: hang the stencil by the tab hole, or keep it flat between two sheets of paper in a folder.
