ProAiir QuickEZ Diamond Back Stencil
With the Diamond Back stencil you lay down a geometric techno pattern on the skin in one go. It's the quickest route to a futuristic cyber or sci-fi look, no freehand drawing needed. Apply it with an airbrush, a face paint sponge or a finger sponge.
What is the QuickEZ Diamond Back stencil?
A reusable face paint stencil made from flexible, semi-transparent 7 mil mylar (approximately 0.18 mm thick).
The designs shown in the product photos are examples; the colour that lands on the skin is entirely your choice.
Size: approx. 11.4 x 14 cm, one design per stencil. The tab has a hole so you can hang the stencil on a key ring or stencil rack.
Why pick this stencil?
- Airbrush and manual. The stencil works with ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink, Endura and equally well with a sponge and water-activated face paint. You choose the technique that fits the job.
- Fast results. Press down, airbrush or dab, lift the stencil, done. Ideal when you're running multiple techno looks back to back at a cosplay event or workshop.
- Reusable. Mylar is durable and flexible. Clean it well and store it flat, and it'll last you many shows.
- Follows the body's curves. The mylar is thin and pliable, so it sits neatly against a cheek, shoulder, décolletage or upper arm.
How to use the stencil
- Hold the stencil flat against the skin where you want the Diamond Back pattern to appear.
- Spray with an airbrush or dab with a damp face paint sponge.
- Lift the stencil straight up. Don't slide it across the skin or the edges will smear.
Tip for water-activated face paint: keep your sponge damp, not wet. Too much moisture and the paint bleeds under the edges, giving you blurry lines.
Cleaning and storage
Rinse the stencil after use with lukewarm water and mild soap. Pat it dry gently and leave it flat until fully dry. Don't roll or fold it, or the mylar will develop permanent creases.
Used ProAiir Hybrid? Rub a thin layer of mild soap into the stencil first, then rinse with lukewarm water. That loosens the alcohol-based paint from the mylar.
For storage: hang the stencil from the tab hole, or keep it flat between two sheets of paper in a folder.
What can you use it for?

- Bodypaint: Diamond Back as a tech layer in a robot, alien or cyber look.
- Theatre and film: Diamond Back for sci-fi characters and mecha effects.
- Festivals and photoshoots: Diamond Back as a geometric accent in an avant-garde look.
