What ageing effects can you create with this wheel?
The four colours in this wheel cover the essentials of convincing age work: wrinkles, sunken hollows, surface capillaries and cool shadow tones. Capillary Stipple gives you fine vein texture and mottled skin, Character Shadow adds depth to hollows and lines, Ultralite lifts the high points of the face, and Misty Violet brings a cool, aged quality to temples and eyelids.

How to use it
Apply with a Mehron Latex Foam Sponge for soft, stippled transitions - great for Capillary Stipple and Character Shadow. Use your fingers for faster, warmer blending. A fine brush gives you crisp lines and sharp detail. The crème applies directly on skin and also works over latex, gelatine, wax, silicone and prosthetics. For a more transparent, layered effect, mix the colour on a palette with a drop of 99% alcohol before applying with a sponge or brush.
Pro tip: Start with Character Shadow in the nasolabial folds and eye sockets. Add Ultralite to the cheekbones and nose bridge. Stipple Capillary Stipple across the cheeks and nose for surface vessels, then finish with a touch of Misty Violet on the temples and eyelids for a cool, lifelike aged quality.
Setting and removing
Set the crème makeup with a setting powder using a powder puff. Remove any powder residue with a powder brush. To take everything off, use a makeup remover such as Ben Nye Quick Cleanse, or soap and water.
