The Diamond FX Essential Ogre 30gr is a professional wax-based face paint with high pigmentation and strong coverage. The wax base lets you work in layers without colours bleeding into each other. With this 30g pot you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a little clean water. Mist the surface with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours vivid and true - use a water pot and refresh the water between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are designed for face paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no fibres behind. For detail work and line work, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water next to your workspace stops colours from mixing or turning muddy.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This makes removal easier and prevents staining with deep, intense shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, creating surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the paint. Quality and shelf life are not affected.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
