Diamond FX Essential Light Pink 30gr - wax-based face paint

The Diamond FX Essential Light Pink 30gr is a professional wax-based face paint known for its high pigmentation and strong coverage. The wax base lets you build up layers without colours bleeding into each other. With this 30g pot you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.

Diamond FX Essential is hypoallergenic, gluten-free, and free from animal ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The Essential range is formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients, suitable for the skin of children and adults alike. Browse all our other Diamond FX Essential colours.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps your colours pure and vibrant - work with a water pot and refresh the water between colours.

Tips for a professional result

  • Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are specially made for face paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no fibres behind. For detail work and lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
  • Use the right sponge. For large areas, use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
  • Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water on your workstation prevents colours from mixing or turning dull.
  • Protective layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier layer makes removal easier and prevents staining (pigment residue) with intense shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid this. Gently work the soap in and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the paint is gone.

For a cleaner and quicker removal without scrubbing:

  • Diamond FX Skin Soap - specially developed for removing Diamond FX face paint
  • Remover Towel - a damp wipe that takes off paint in one go, ideal at events and children's parties where you paint many faces in a row

What to use Diamond FX Essential Light Pink for

  • Children's face painting at parties and events - light pink as a base for fairies, butterflies, princesses and flowers
  • Carnival and fancy dress - flamingos, pink cats, unicorns and other pink characters
  • Cosplay and character makeup - rosy skin tones, anime looks and fantasy characters
  • Body painting - soft pink base colour for floral designs, fairies and decorative artwork
  • Theatre and events - pink accents and highlights for stage looks and performers

Frequently asked questions

Why are there sometimes small cracks in the paint?

Large temperature fluctuations during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the paint. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Is Diamond FX safe for children?

Yes, Diamond FX Essential is hypoallergenic, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free, gluten-free and contains no animal ingredients. The Essential range meets EU and FDA cosmetics guidelines. Always do a patch test 24 hours in advance for sensitive skin.

How many faces can you paint with 30g?

A 30g pot covers approximately 10 to 15 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.

What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?

Essential is a matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only come alive under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?

Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour adjustments. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
