How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a little clean water. Mist the surface with a spray bottle, or dip a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush into the colour. Clean water keeps your colours bright and true - use a water pot and refresh it between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are designed for face paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no stray fibres. For detail work and linework, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For covering large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water beside your workspace prevents colours from muddying or turning dull.
• Protective layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier layer makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense shades like dark green, turquoise or dark blue.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.

Large temperature fluctuations during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the product. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
