The Diamond FX Essential Ebony Skin 30gr is a professional wax-based face paint known for its high pigmentation and strong coverage. The wax base lets you build up layers without colours bleeding into each other. With 30 grams you can face paint 10 to 15 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours bright and true - work with a water tub and refresh the water between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are designed for face paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no fluff. For detail work and lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water tub with fresh water next to your workspace prevents colours from mixing or turning dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining with deep shades like ebony, dark brown or dark green.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into skin - avoid it. Gently work the soap in and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.

Why are there sometimes small cracks in the paint?

Large temperature swings during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, creating surface cracks. They usually disappear with use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
