EBA Transluz Endura Alcohol Based Thinner 120ml
EBA Transluz is a patented alcohol-based thinner by European Bodyart, made specifically for the Endura airbrush makeup range. You use it to lower viscosity, create transparent washes, or run Endura through your airbrush at a lower PSI.
- Alcohol-based thinner, formulated exclusively for Endura airbrush makeup
- Lowers viscosity for smoother airbrush flow at low PSI
- Creates sheer washes and translucent layering effects
- Maintains Endura's formula consistency when thinned
- Contents: 120 ml
When do you choose Transluz over water or a universal thinner?
Endura is an alcohol-based makeup. Thin it with water and you break the formula - losing the water-resistant finish that makes Endura worth using in the first place. Transluz is engineered to keep the chemical balance of Endura intact while reducing viscosity.
Reach for Transluz when your airbrush needle is 0.2 or 0.3 mm and Endura feels too thick to flow cleanly, or when you want to build up sheer, transparent layers rather than full coverage.
What airbrush effects can you create with Transluz?
Adding Transluz gives you thin washes, soft gradients, and semi-transparent layers. That's useful for bodypainting where you want the skin's texture to show through, for subtle contouring, or for foundation work where you build from sheer to full coverage.
Transluz also works with the Endura SKT skin tone range. Add a little more thinner and a full SKT colour becomes a lightweight skin-perfecting layer instead of a solid base coat.
How to use it
Add Transluz to Endura directly in your airbrush cup or in a mixing cup. Start with a small amount and test the consistency before continuing. How much you need depends on your needle size and the coverage you're after.
Pro tip: Working with a 0.2 mm needle and your airbrush keeps blocking? Mix in Transluz until the blend flows freely at low pressure. A ratio of 1 part Transluz to 3 parts Endura is a solid starting point for most body applications.
Setting and removing
Endura dries to a water-resistant finish. Thinning with Transluz doesn't change how the cured layer performs. Remove Endura with a suitable alcohol-based remover or an isopropyl alcohol product.
Transluz is flammable. Store the bottle in a cool, dry place away from open flames or heat sources.
What can you use it for?
- Airbrush bodypainting and bodypaint projects
- Film and prosthetic makeup using Endura
- Theatre and stage productionsCosplay and special effects makeup
- Halloween airbrush looks
- Temporary tattoo effects via airbrush
