How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a little clean water. Spritz a fine mist onto the paint using a spray bottle, or dip a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush into the paint. Clean water keeps colours clear and bright - use a water bowl and refresh the water between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for water-activated face paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no fluff. For detail work and fine lines, use the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A bowl of clean water next to your workspace stops colours from mixing or going dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and draws pigment deeper into the skin - avoid it. Gently work the soap in and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.

Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, resulting in surface cracks. They usually disappear on their own when you start using the paint. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Is Diamond FX safe for children?

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?

Yes, that is actually one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation ensure the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
