How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps your colours bright and true - use a water bowl and refresh the water between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are purpose-made for water-activated face paint with smooth synthetic bristles that don't shed. For detail work and fine lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For larger areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water bowl with fresh water next to your workspace prevents colours from muddying or looking dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin coat of Marley Skin beforehand. This protective layer makes removal easier and prevents staining (pigment residue) from intense shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid this. Gently work in the soap and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.

Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. These usually disappear once you start using the paint. Quality and shelf life are not affected.

Is Diamond FX safe for children?

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
