The Diamond FX Metallic Beetle Green 30gr is a professional wax-based face paint with a glossy shimmer finish, ideal for accents and highlights. The wax base lets you layer colours without the underlying colour bleeding through. With this 30g pot you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface with a spray bottle, or dip a well-wrung sponge or damp brush into the colour. Clean water keeps colours bright and true - use a water pot and refresh between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are designed specifically for water-activated face paint with smooth synthetic bristles that don't leave fluff. For detail work and fine lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water at your workstation prevents colours from mixing or looking dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier coat makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all face paint is gone.

Large temperature fluctuations during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the product. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
