The Diamond FX Metallic Mellow Lavender 30gr is a professional wax-based face paint with a glossy shimmer finish. The metallic formula gives you a soft lavender tone with a pearl-like sheen - perfect for accents and highlights over an existing base colour. With this 30g you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a little clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours bright and true - use a water bowl and refresh it between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are designed for face paint with smooth synthetic bristles that leave no fluff. For detail work and fine lines, use the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water bowl with fresh water next to your work space prevents colours from mixing or turning dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin first. This barrier layer makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense metallic shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the paint with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores, causing pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid this. Rub in the soap gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all face paint is gone.

Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear when you start using the paint. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Is Diamond FX safe for children?

Yes, Diamond FX Metallic is hypoallergenic, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free, gluten-free and contains no animal ingredients. The Metallic range meets EU and FDA cosmetics regulations. If your child has sensitive skin, do a patch test 24 hours before use.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?

Yes, that is actually one of its strong points. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through.
