Diamond FX Metallic Purple 30gr - wax-based face paint

The Diamond FX Metallic Purple 30gr is a professional wax-based face paint with a glossy shimmer finish, ideal for accents and highlights. The wax base gives strong coverage and lets you work over other colours without bleeding through. With this 30g pot you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a little clean water. Mist the surface with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours bright and pure - use a water tub and refresh it between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are purpose-made for face paint with smooth synthetic hairs that won't leave fibres behind. For detail work and line work, use the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water tub with fresh water next to your workspace prevents colours from mixing or going dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cold to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and draws pigment deeper into the skin - avoid this. Rub in the soap gently and rinse well. Repeat until all the colour is gone.

Frequently asked questions

Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear on their own when you start painting. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Is Diamond FX safe for children?

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?

Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour adjustment. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
