The Diamond FX Metallic Aqua 30gr is a professional wax-based face paint with a glossy aqua shimmer finish. The wax formula gives strong coverage and keeps the metallic shimmer vibrant, even when applied over other colours. With 30 grams you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours crisp and pure - use a water tub and refresh the water between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for face paint with smooth synthetic hairs that leave no fuzz. For detail work and fine lines, use the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A tub of fresh water next to your workstation prevents colours from mixing or turning dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining (pigment residue) with intense shades like this aqua.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid this. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all face paint is gone.

Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?

Large temperature differences during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. These usually disappear during use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Is Diamond FX safe for children?

Yes, Diamond FX Metallic is hypoallergenic, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free, gluten-free and contains no animal ingredients. The Metallic range meets EU and FDA cosmetics guidelines. If skin is sensitive, always do a patch test 24 hours beforehand.

What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?

Essential is a matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only come alive under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
